- Establishing New Program (New)
- Expanding Existing Program (Expanding)
Purpose
New:
This grant supports schools that are establishing new Japanese language programs by providing financial support for the purchase of Japanese language teaching materials.
Expanding:
This grant supports schools that are seeking to further develop their existing Japanese language programs by providing financial support for the purchase of Japanese language teaching materials.
Grant amount
New:
Successful applicants will be eligible for the reimbursement of 100% of the purchase price of approved materials up to AU$700.00.
Expanding:
Successful applicants will be eligible for the reimbursement of 50% of the purchase price of approved materials up to AU$700.00.
2025 Timeline
Applications open: May 14, 2025
Application deadline: July 2, 2025
Outcome notification: July 23, 2025
Purchasing period: July 23, 2025 – November 12, 2025
Reimbursement submission deadline: November 26 , 2025
