Learn “sitting-as-art” with artist Michael Garbutt.
This workshop is a hands-on guide to seeing the world through Hokusai’s eyes. It includes an introduction and practical exercises, held outdoors in Chippendale, to help participants search for their own Mount Fuji.
Workshop participants, please bring:
- Lightweight portable chair
- A small sketchpad and pen/pencils and/or small musical instrument (flute, recorder, guitar, ukulele, hand drum, etc.)
- Hat and sunscreen
- Bottled water
Please note: No drawing or musical experience is required.
