Due to the effect of COVID-19, many schools have been forced into delivering lessons online. This shift to online learning also applies to Japanese classes. For many Japanese language teachers, moving Japanese classes online involves many challenges. To assist teachers with the transition, The Japan Foundation, Sydney is running online workshops with tips for teaching online classes. Let’s explore how we can create a fun and engaging online class for students, and be able to see students’ live reactions!
*These workshops are designed for Australian teachers, although teachers from other countries can also participate.

April 22 & 29 (Wed), Session 1: “Enjoy Japanese Lessons Using ZOOM”
Find out about the basic features of ZOOM, and learn tips for making your online classes more interactive.
April 23 & 30 (Thu), Session 2: “Using Resources Effectively for Online Teaching”
Learn how to deliver interactive online classes and use resources effectively.
