Japanese Language Education Seminar (AUG 2026)
日本語であそぶ!ことばと表現ワークショップ
Play with Japanese!
Words and Creative Expression Workshop
日本語であそぶ!ことばと表現ワークショップ
The seminar will be conducted in Japanese.
※本セミナーは日本語で行われます。
The 21st Seminar Series is an in-person workshop for children and adults who use Japanese and have connections to Japan.
We are delighted to welcome poet and performer Komoru Nakauchi for a creative workshop that explores ways of expressing thoughts, feelings, and ideas through the Japanese language.
The workshop is open to primary and secondary school students, university students, Japanese language learners, teachers of Japanese, and anyone interested in creative expression through Japanese. Rather than focusing on grammar or vocabulary accuracy, participants will be encouraged to use their voices, experiment with language, and discover the joy of expressing themselves freely in Japanese.
第21回のセミナーシリーズは、日本と繋がるこどもたち、日本語を使うおとなたちのための対面ワークショップです。詩人でありパーフォーマーでもある中内こもる氏を迎え、日本語を使って自分の思いを表現するワークショップをおこないます。対象は日本にルーツのある小学生、中高生、大学生、日本語を勉強している方、日本語の先生方など、日本語を通して創作表現してみたい方。文法や語彙などにこだわりすぎず、声を出して日本語で自由に表現する楽しさを探究します。
【Message for participants】
Hello, I’m Komoru Nakauchi.
In this workshop, I’d like to focus less on “speaking Japanese well” and more on exploring and playing freely with the language.
You don’t need any experience writing poetry, nor do you need advanced Japanese skills.
Through activities such as speaking out loud, improvising short performances, and combining words in creative ways, I hope we can discover together just how enjoyable and expressive Japanese can be.
Please feel free to join us!
【参加される方へのメッセージ】
こんにちは。中内こもるです。
今回のワークショップでは、「上手に話すこと」よりも、「日本語を使って自由に遊んでみること」を大切にしたいと思っています。
詩を書く経験や、特別な日本語力は必要ありません。
声を出したり、即興で何かを演じてみたり、短い言葉を組み合わせたりしながら、一緒に日本語の面白さを体験できれば嬉しいです。
どうぞ気軽にご参加ください!
