Delve deeper into the world of RETRO HORROR
Since the mid-1900s, more horror manga has been published in Japan than can possibly be covered in 30 short minutes. This talk will zero in on RETRO HORROR’s three main artists, and will also look at other artists whose works are peripherally featured in the exhibition.
From occult to splatter to psychothrillers, RETRO HORROR introduces a variety of different works. Come along and discover your fright of choice…
Noriaki Suzuki is a curator at Meiji University’s Yoshihiro Yonezawa Memorial Library of Manga and Subcultures in Tokyo, where he gets to plan amazing manga exhibitions like this one on a regular basis.
